Hard water stains are mineral deposits left behind when water evaporates. They look white, chalky, or filmy on glass shower doors, faucets, and fixtures. The fix is acid — vinegar for light stains, CLR for heavy buildup.
Spray undiluted white vinegar generously over the stained surface. For vertical glass surfaces, press vinegar-soaked paper towels against the glass. Let sit for 10-30 minutes.
Wipe firmly with a microfiber cloth. For remaining stains, mix baking soda with a little water into a paste and scrub gently. Rinse and dry immediately.
Apply CLR per product instructions. Let dwell for the recommended time, scrub, and rinse thoroughly. Dry immediately with a microfiber cloth.
